Firstly, it works perfectly with the lipstick Temptress (compliments that one perfectly) - few shades can come as close to how *right* this shade does for smokey eyes, not to mention how fast the process is using the shaper. It's like the shade "Gunmetal" in the urban decay original naked palette but honestly better, and the tone is a bit darker too, so you get the shading effect. I think it diffuses very easily, if you use a fluffy brush, it's easy peasy. I think the shadow is made so it diffuses more easily (blends) for amateurs, so they don't need many brushes and time to get the type of result that doesnt look harsh.. With this it just works as smokey (and not stark, the pearlescent factor makes it a perfect balance) off the bat, and transition shades are optional.

Jane Bond is a nicely pigmented shadow that glides on flawlessly & blends well. Not real shimmery it's like a pearl! I love it!
